Role Overview
The ideal candidate is analytical, highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple campaigns and deadlines at once. You should be able to review campaign performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and translate data into clear, actionable recommendations. You will assist with everything from campaign setup and quality assurance to budget monitoring, reporting, research, and ongoing optimization.
To excel in this position, you must be willing to stay current on paid media trends, platform updates, targeting capabilities, and industry best practices. You should understand that successful paid media requires both thoughtful strategy and precise execution. This role is well suited for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with data, learning new platforms, and helping clients achieve measurable business results.
Your goal will be to help ensure campaigns are launched accurately, optimized consistently, and aligned with each client’s objectives and key performance indicators.
Responsibilities
Research & Strategy Support
- Conduct keyword, audience, competitor, geographic, and industry research to support campaign planning
- Assist with the development, setup, launch, and ongoing management of paid media campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, Pinterest, TikTok, YouTube, Reddit, and other relevant platforms
- Stay informed about platform changes, new advertising products, industry trends, and paid media best practices
- Assist with search query reviews, keyword expansion, negative keyword management, bid adjustments, audience refinement, placement reviews, and creative testing
Execution
- Complete campaign builds based on approved media strategies, budgets, targeting, creative, and messaging
- Monitor campaign budgets and pacing to ensure accounts remain on track throughout the month
- Review campaign performance regularly and complete optimizations based on established goals and KPIs
- Complete detailed quality assurance checks before and after campaigns launch
- Assist with the implementation and verification of conversion tracking, pixels, platform events, and UTM parameters
- Coordinate with account management, creative, SEO, and other internal teams to gather campaign assets and meet launch deadlines
- Communicate platform requirements, creative specifications, and campaign needs clearly to internal team members
- Support additional paid media projects, research, audits, and business development opportunities as needed
Reporting & Documentation
- Compile performance data and contribute insights for weekly, monthly, quarterly, and campaign-specific reporting
- Identify performance trends, potential issues, and opportunities, escalating important findings to the Director of Paid Media
- Maintain accurate campaign documentation, budget trackers, reporting files, and internal task-management systems
Qualifications & Skills
- 2–4 years of experience supporting or managing paid digital advertising campaigns
- Working knowledge of Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager
- Understanding of paid search, paid social, display, video, audience targeting, remarketing, and conversion-focused campaign strategies
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret campaign data, recognize trends, and make informed recommendations
- Experience with keyword research, audience research, competitive analysis, and website analytics
- Understanding of key paid media metrics, including impressions, clicks, click-through rate, cost per click, conversions, conversion rate, cost per conversion, and return on ad spend
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to campaign accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to follow established processes while also identifying opportunities to improve them
- Willingness to ask questions, accept feedback, and continue developing paid media expertise
- Proactive, dependable, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
Desired Skills (Nice to Have)
- Familiarity with additional platforms such as LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Pinterest, TikTok, YouTube, or programmatic advertising is a plus
- Experience with Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Data Studio, call-tracking platforms, or reporting dashboards is a plus
- Relevant Google, Meta, or other platform certifications are preferred but not required
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range: $40,000–$55,000
